Core Beliefs

The foundational truths that shape our faith and guide our ministry

Scripture

We believe the Bible is God's inspired word, our ultimate authority for faith and life. It guides our understanding of truth and provides wisdom for every situation.

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness." - 2 Timothy 3:16

Salvation by Grace

We believe that salvation is a gift from God, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not by our own works or efforts.

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God." - Ephesians 2:8

Trinity

We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, each fully God yet distinct in their roles.

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." - Matthew 28:19

The Church

We believe the church is the body of Christ, called to worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry, and mission in the world.

"And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead." - Colossians 1:18

Prayer

We believe in the power of prayer as communication with God, bringing our needs, gratitude, and worship before Him.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." - Philippians 4:6

Christ's Return

We believe Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly to establish His kingdom and bring all things to their fulfillment.

"He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end." - Nicene Creed

Theological Position

Where we stand on key theological matters that shape our ministry

Biblical Authority

We hold to the inspiration, inerrancy, and authority of Scripture as the ultimate guide for faith and practice. We interpret the Bible using sound hermeneutical principles, considering historical and literary context.

Salvation

We believe in salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. We affirm that good works are the result, not the cause, of salvation.

Baptism & Communion

We practice believer's baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith, and regularly celebrate communion as a remembrance of Christ's sacrifice.

Spiritual Gifts

We believe in the continuation of spiritual gifts for the building up of the church and the advancement of God's kingdom, exercised in love and order.

Kingdom Advancement

We are committed to advancing God's Kingdom in Southern Utah, influencing our region for God's glory through unity, revival, and transformation.

Unity of Faith

We pursue the unity of the faith through our non-denominational approach, bringing together English and Spanish-speaking believers as one mature body.

Statement of Faith

Our comprehensive theological foundation

About God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is infinite, eternal, and unchangeable in His being, wisdom, power, holiness, justice, goodness, and truth.

About Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is true God and true man, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead, and ascended to heaven where He intercedes for us.

About the Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, regenerates believers, indwells all Christians, and empowers them for godly living and service.

About Humanity

We believe humans are created in God's image but fallen through sin. All people need salvation, which is available through Jesus Christ alone.

About the Future

We believe in the personal return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, final judgment, and the eternal blessedness of the righteous and eternal punishment of the wicked.
